Hannah Herman
Carlisle Rotary Club's
Student of the Month
April 2021
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Hannah Herman as the April Student of the Month in a special outdoor meeting at Heberlnig-Palmer Park. 
She is a senior at Boiling Springs High School and the daughter of Patrick and Kimberly Herman of Boiling Springs. 
She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community. 
Hannah is president of the Student Council and president of the  Friends of Rachel (FOR) club.
Her extracurricular activities include teaching yoga and ballet and serving as a camp counselor and coach for Girls on the Run.
Her outside interests include hiking, kayaking and traveling. 
She plans to attend Warren Wilson College in Asheville, NC to study outdoor leadership and environmental studies.

Molly Biggs

Student of the Month

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Molly Biggs as the February Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Boiling Springs High School and the daughter of Kyle and Robin Biggs of Boiling Springs. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community. 
Molly is a member of the National Honor Society, the National Math Honor Society (Mu Alpha Theta), the Interact Club and the Friends of Rachel (FOR). She is also co-captain of the Volleyball team. Her interests include reading, genetics and astronomy. She plans to attend college to major in biology and play volleyball.

Everett Baker

Student of the Month for January 2021

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Everett Baker as the January Student of the Month.  He is a senior at Big Spring High School and the son of Shad and Sheila Baker of Carlisle. He received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community. Everett is a member of both the basketball and track and field teams. He is also a member of Club Care, the National Spanish Honor Society and the Dawg Pound. He is also active in CEFC Church Group, Carlisle Young Life and CEFC Church Children's Ministry. His interests include outdoor activities including sports. The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Christian Good as the December Student of the Month.  He is a senior at Carlisle High School and the son of Michael and Barbara Good of Carlisle. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community.  Christian is a member of the football team for four years serving as captain this year. He is also a member of the Republican club.  He is a nature enthusiast and his interests include hiking, hunting and fishing. He plans to attend Thiel College, in Greenville. The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Haven Over as the November Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Big Spring High School and the daughter of Jacee and Justin Over of Newville. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community. Haven is a member of the National Honor Society, Math Honor Society, National Hispanic Honor Society, Student Council, T.E.M.P.U.S. and the Volleyball team.   Her extracurricular activities include attending the HACC Nursing Assistant Training Program and Penn State PULSE Program. She enjoys dance which she has been active in since 2012. The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Maddie Bubb as the October Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Boiling Springs High School and the daughter of April and Bill Bubb of Boiling Springs. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community. Maddie is a member of the Swimming and Diving team, the Perfect Peers club and the Mini-THON club  She volunteers her time with the Four Diamonds organization and plans to attend college to major in nursing with a goal to become a pediatric oncology nurse. The Carlisle Rotary Club honors extraordinary students each month from Big Spring, South Middleton, and Carlisle School Districts.

 John Peters

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored John Peters as the September Student of the Month.  He is a senior at Carlisle High School and son of Ellen Peters and Ivo Otto of Carlisle. He received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community. He has earned a GPA of 4.385. John is a member of the National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, English Honor Society, Model United Nations and a member of Student Council, serving as vice president in 2019.  He is member of the Varsity Golf team serving as captain the last two years. John is an Eagle Scout and recently won the PA Jr. State Golf Championship.  He volunteers his time at the United Methodist Church, Project Share and Carlisle Arts Learning Center. He has accepted a full scholarship at Duke University as a member of the golf team and plans to major in economics.
