Alexandria Kutulakis

Student of the Month for February 2020

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Alexandria Kutulakis as the February Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Big Spring High School and daughter of Joanne Kutulakis of Carlisle. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community.
Alexandra is a member of the National Honor Society, National Art Honors Society, Mu Alpha Theta, the Spanish Club, TEMPUS, Club CARE, the "DAWG" Pound and the Art Club. She also is involved in athletics as a member of the field hockey team, track team and basketball team. Alexa volunteers her time at the Special Olympics and coaches youth field hockey and basketball. She plans to attend college to study engineering and hopes to attend Penn State, James Madison or Virginia Tech.

Brinn Mancuso

Student of the Month for January 2020

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Brinn Mancuso as the January Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Boiling Springs High School and daughter of Joseph and Susan Mancuso of Boiling Springs. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community.
Brinn is a member of the National Honor Society serving as treasurer, National Spanish Honor Society and Interact Club, serving as secretary. She also is the chair of the "Mini-THON,"  president of the LINK crew and a member of the Student Leadership council. She is captain of the field hockey team and a member of the track and field team. Brinn volunteers her time at the Sadler Health Center and is a Youth Group Leader at her church. She plans to attend college to study pharmacy and plans to become a pharmacist in a hospital setting.

James Echevarria

Student of the Month for December 2019

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored James Echevarria  as the December Student of the Month.  He is a senior at Carlisle High School. He received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community. James has a 4.1 Grade Point Average and is enrolled in several advanced placement and honors courses. He is member of the Youth Advisory Board which works with the community to keep students from doing drugs and alcohol. James is a member of the "Wingin It," group, which is like “Whose Line is it Anyway” and is the morning voice at Carlisle High School making announcements. James has found a love for art and he hopes to pursue a career in animation

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Ian Ward as the November Student of the Month.  He is a senior at Big Spring High School and is
the son of Avis and David Ward of Newville. He received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community.  Ian is a member of the National Social Studies Honor Society, Student Council for three years, currently serving as President, and a member of the Technology Student Association. He is a Student Section leader of the "Dawg Pound," the school spirit club, and the Big Spring Rocket Society. Ian is a member of the Cross Country team, Swim team and Track team serving as captain on all teams and was voted Most Valuable Player on the track team last season.  Ian is an Eagle Scout and Junior Member of the Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department. He works on the family farm as well as serving as a lifeguard at the Big Spring High School pool. He hopes to attend the US Navel Academy to study Chemical Engineering.

The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Aleia Baker as the October Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Boiling Springs High School and is the daughter of Angela and Jason Baker of Carlisle. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community.  Aleia is a member of the National Honor Society, MU Alpha Theta (two years),  Student Council for three years, serving as Secretary, and a member of the Technology Student Association. She is a part of the Volleyball team, high school band and Jazz band. The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored Sophia Toti  as the September Student of the Month.  She is a senior at Carlisle High School and is the daughter of Dawn and Fred Toti of Carlisle. She received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both her school and community.  Sophie is a member of the National Honor Society, and class council serving as Secretary. She is a Captain of the Cross Country Team and a member of the Track Team.
