We had seven members attend the District 7390 Learning Assembly at Central Penn College on March 24.
Thank you to Judy Wheaton, Deborah Sweeney and our Leadership Cumberland intern, Rachel Kennedy, for setting up a table at the Leadership Cumberland Non-profit Volunteer Fair on March 14th. It was also nice to see our friends from Carlisle Sunrise there, including President Charlie Stoup and Harold Cooney (pictured below).

• Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA). Our new Rotarian, Michelle Palmer-Felton, is joining Michelle Lisk to organize our region’s student representatives for the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA), Rotary's leadership training program for young people, which will occur June 9 – 13 at Messiah University. Junior students at the Boiling Springs and Carlisle high schools are encouraged to apply through their counseling center. https://rotary7390.org/page/ryla.

Many thanks to Carlisle High School students Aedan Shevlin, Paige Harrell, and Greta Weirich for their performance of selections from a recent production of PIPPIN, the musical. Rotarians enjoyed the energy, entertainment, and talents from the students and the character’s they portrayed!
Carlisle Rotary supported the Carlisle Exchange Club with their Pinwheel Project publicizing child abuse. Our pinwheel garden in located in a planter in front of the Comfort Suites. All profits will be donated to Domestic Violence of Cumberland and Perry County.
