May is the month of flowers and spring. This year is the 30th year that the Rotary Club of Carlisle has hung flower baskets in downtown Carlisle. The flower baskets are a joint project sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carlisle, Dickinson College, and the Carlisle Garden Club.
To celebrate the anniversary, the public is invited to the Old Courthouse Square on May 28th from 4:30-6pm for a Mayoral Proclamation and Ice Cream Social.

On Thursday, April 30th, we welcomed Beth Kempf and Erik Larson from Community CARES. Beth updated us on the current situation of many troubled individuals who are struggling with homelessness, loss of jobs, unemployment, and other problems.
Rotarian Bruce Watkins presents on the USS Iowa Turret Explosion.
Jeanna Som, Supportive Partnerships for Youth (SPY), spoke about the programs and activities the community children experience from SPY.
