January is Vocational Service Month. Vocational Service focuses on:
- Adherence to and promotion of the highest ethical standards in all occupations, including fair treatment of employers, employees, associates, competitors, and the public.
- The recognition of the worthiness of all useful occupations, not just those that are pursued by Rotarians.
- The contribution of your vocational talents to solving the problems of society and meeting the needs of the community.
Speaking of vocations, The Rotary Clubs of West Shore, District 7390 Passport, Mechanicsburg North and Yellow Breeches will host the 74th RMB networking event in Rotary District 7390 history and the first event of the 2025 RMB season.
The event will take place on Thursday, February 13 from 5:00 to 7:30 PM at the Brand-New Joseph T. Simpson Library Learning and Book Sale Center at 45 West Allen Street, Mechanicsburg, PA.
Carlisle Rotary Club again supports the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Commemoration. Rotarian Dr. Marcellus Taylor will be the guest speaker.
Sonya Browne, Executive Director of Domestic Violence Services of Cumberland & Perry Counties updates the club.
President Travis thanks, Sonya Browne. The club raised over $500 for Domestic Violence Services in the meeting.
