August is Membership Month for Rotary, so we encourage members to invite someone for lunch. This is also a good time to recognize our Rotary membership anniversaries: Dan Monken, 28 years; Greg Lunde, 25 years; Cindy Gleim-Pool, 17 years; Justin Doty, 13 years; and Yvette Davis, 3 years.
Next month, we will also restart our Student of the Month with an awardee from Carlisle High School.

On Thursday, August 13th, we welcomed our own Rotarian, Col. Robert Gerard, Ph.D., U.S. Army, Retired. Bob is an amazing man and always a pleasure to talk with. But wait, he sure looks like the Lindburgh baby!
Great day helping to bring smiles to others while celebrating Christmas in July with Rotary Club of Carlisle at One and Two West Penn this month.
Thank you to Cindy and Mike for watering our beautiful downtown flower baskets last weekend. It was a very hot steamy week and they helped keep our flowers looking lovely.
