February has started with a bang for Carlisle Rotary! Service Above Self is Rotary's motto and eight Rotarians (plus one spouse) supported Carlisle High School's National History Day, on February 3rd. Interesting Programing. We started the month with a presentation by Doreen Wilbur, from the PA Attorney General's office about Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity in PA. Doreen is a former teacher in the Carlisle School District and it was a very informative session. Last week we had two great speakers from the Partnership for Better Health: Director Carol Thornton and Rotary's own Dr. Marcellus Taylor (pictured below between President Joel Hillison and Vice President Deborah Sweaney. This presentation was informative and timely as this month our brag money goes to support Sadler Health in Carlisle.
