This past month we lost two Rotarians, Ben James and Ash Kutz. While I did not know both on a personal basis, it was evident after reading and hearing about their lives that they exemplified the Four Way Test and made a difference. May we as Rotarians strive to continue the legacy left by them and all Rotarians to be positive influencers until it is our turn to rest in peace.
Well, after a two week reprieve from Carlisle I'm excited to be back! I do hope all of you have had an opportunity to check out the revamped www.carlislerotary.org website. The Upcoming Events section at the top left will list all upcoming Club and District activities on a calendar.
It is also meant to be a single place of entry for members to reference the details of each meeting (what is the program; who is giving the invocation, greeters, 50/50, and song leader, etc.). My hope is that all members will find it easy to use, and all Lane and Committee Chairs find it an easy an efficient way to communicate to their respective committees.
Please go to the top right to register, which will allow you the ability to enter the 'Members Area' on the top right of the page once logged in. This area allows you to communicate based as needed within the Club.
Thanks again for all you do.

Nixon resigned on the 8th back in '74, and Martin Luther King gave his "I Have a Dream Speech" this month on the 28th of 1963. Finally, on August 29, 2005, the Gulf Coast saw the beginning of Hurricane Katrina.
